The “Selet-Iske Kazan” specialized session implements the programme that is aimed at identification and development of talented youth who have interest in the history and culture of the Tatar people. One of the important focus areas of “Selet-Iske Kazan” is the professional orientation of schoolchildren. To this effect, the participants of the camp get acquainted with various blue-collar occupations and can understand characteristics of different professions by practicing them. Specialists in different areas are invited to participate in the educational programme, so that the schoolchildren can ask questions that interest them, see the works created by masters and create unique hand-made articles together with them.
During this session, the schoolchildren get acquainted with the history of the origins of the Tatar people, with their culture and traditions and they can get the real feeling of the atmosphere of ancient times. One of the key events is the visit to the “Iske Kazan” Historical Museum-Reserve that is located near the village of Kamayevo in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The “Selet-Iske Kazan” session mainly allows fulfilling three priority tasks:
- identifying and developing the gifted children who want to decide on their future profession;
- recreation and health improvement of children and youth of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- promoting blue-collar occupations and vocational education among gifted children and talented youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The “Selet-Iske Kazan” session is held on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of schoolchildren from Tatarstan and regions of Russia.
