The Training School for Heads and Counselors of “Selet” is a strategically important project that is aimed at training and building of one solid team of heads and counselorsfor the implementation of “Selet” specialized summer sessions. As part of the project,throughout a year there is trainingin the following areas: working with gifted children, teamwork, getting to know the traditions and principles of “Selet”, designing and holding of various events for children, making an appropriate programme for a specialized camp and others.
“Seletke nur bulgan yoldyzlar” is an open literary contest that is held by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan and the “Selet” community together with the “Idel” and “Yalkyn” magazines.
The “Selet” Academy of Youth Diplomacy is a programme that supports young people and youth initiatives in the field of international cooperation. Currently it brings together more than 300 people who participate in international educational exchange programmes between the Republic of Tatarstan and the international community. As part of the Academy, there are six clubs: the clubs of the Council of Europe, of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, of the European Youth Parliament, of the United Nations, of BRICS, of economic diplomacy and the Community of Global Shapers.
The “Selet” IT-center is a center of IT competence and service centre and IT infrastructure development of the Selet projects.
“Selet” Lecture Centreholds monthly meetings with successful people in different spheres of life. The project is carried out in three different formats – public lectures, success stories and lectures in TED format.
The “Selet” KVN League is a youth creative project that is aimed at identifying and supporting creative youth through providing them with the opportunity of enhancing their acting and scriptwriting skills.
The goal of the project is to unite and develop young people interested in intellectual activities. To achieve this goal, thesolves such a task as training and practice of logical thinking skills, playing intellectual games of different genres.
The “Selet” Cinema Club project is aimed at familiarizing the children and youth with Tatar films and with the figures of the national film industry.
