First Kazan forum of young entrepreneurs of the OIC countries, Kazan Youth Camp

According to the Action Plan of the Group of Strategic Vision «Russia - the Islamic world» Kazan Youth Camp «Innovations for Dialogue and Cooperation» and the Forum of young entrepreneurs of the OIC countries for the first time will be held from 10 to 16 June, 2015 in Kazan, participants from 27 countries will be presented.

The organizers of the Kazan Youth Camp «Innovation for Dialogue and Cooperation» are the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Islamic Conference Youth Forum for dialogue and cooperation (ICYF-DC) and Youth Foundation of the Republic of Tatarstan «Selet» with the partnership of KazanSummit.

The Opening Ceremony took place in Grand Hotel Kazan on June, 11. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr.Vladimir Leonov, First Deputy Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Mr. Insaf Galiyev and Director of ICYF-DC Secretariat Mr.Elmaddin Mekhdiyev and Director General of the «Selet» Youth Foundation Dzhavdet Suleymanov welcomed participants at the Opening Ceremony in English.

Vladimir Leonov in his speech welcomed everyone in the Republic of Tatarstan «We hope you will enjoy Kazan – one of the most beautiful cities of Russia and the planned meetings will be fruitful for you. It’s great pleasure for us to host this forum. We will do our best to host the Forum annually». Insaf Galiyev noted that the contacts which young participants will establish here, would become the basis of development of the youth entrepreneurs cooperation: «For us it is important that every year the number of the young entrepreneurs who come to take part in the significant events as KazanSummit increases".

After the Opening educational sessions started.

This camp is aimed to form a friendly environment for increasing the potential of youth by supporting the initiatives and giving the participants a higher level of education in project management. More than 300 applications from over the world were received, only 100 young entrepreneurs 18-30 years old were selected. Kazan Youth Camp «Innovation for Dialogue and Cooperation» unites  120 youth representatives from more than 27 Countries of Islamic Cooperation, regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. The geography of participants is various, the projects will be submitted by young entrepreneurs from 27 countries: Russia, Tunisia, Nigeria, Egypt, Iraq, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Afghanistan, Mauritania, Algeria, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, India, Malawi, Pakistan, Uganda, France, Uzbekistan, Mali, Chad, Montenegro, Kenya, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Yemen, Nepal, Germany, Ghana, Poland, Benin, Guinea, Belarus, Liberia, Gambia, Syria, Sri Lanka, Palestine, USA, Sweden, Libya, Tajikistan, Macedonia, Morocco, Sudan, Guinea, Iran and Cameroon.

During the Kazan Summit 2015 the most successful and outstanding projects will be chosen for consideration and future contract negotiation within the companies and investments of Russia and the Countries of Islamic Cooperation. A large number of investors are expected to attend the Kazan Summit 2015.

During the Camp delegates will attend working sessions, business games and workshops. Besides, the delegates will learn about culture, traditions and heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan as well as attending Strategic Forum KazanSummit where the delegates will have a chance to receive professional feedback on their projects from investors and businessmen.

Participants of the Camp are going to meet the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for the Questions&Answers session.

Trainers of the Camp are Programme Director, Head of the International Centre for Educational Technologies «Selet» Anna Feldman (Kazan), Trainer of the Council of Europe and Salto programme Nataliya Chardymova (Nizhny Novgorod), Director General of Training and Consulting company «STONE» Fedor Mikushkin (Rostov-on-Don), trainer of the Council of Europe, Salto and Erasmus+ programmes Nataliya Nikitina (Nijnyi Novgorod) and business-trainer Miroslava Levitskaya (Rostov-on-Don).
