“Fensar – Intellectual Constellation” Academy

The “Fensar” Academy is a youth educational project that is aimed at identifying and supporting the science-oriented youth through the creation of conditions and opportunities for schoolchildren to receive supplementary education. The “Fensar” Academy has the format of full-time and distance school, whose tutors teach at the leading higher education institutions of Russia. The use of innovative achievements and individual approach to students is a priority in the work of the full-time and distance school of the “Fensar – Intellectual Constellation” Academy. The Academy runs the online school and holds full-time sessions, which conclude with the annual “Selet” Scientific and Practical Conference. This project was launched in 2002, and since then more than 2,000 schoolchildren became its participants, 100% of which successfully passed their entrance examinations to higher education institutions.

The aim of the project is to support science-oriented children and youth.

The “Fensar” Academy mainly allows fulfilling two priority tasks:

- identifying and developing the gifted children, with the prospect of forming an intellectual elite in the scientific research centres of the Republic of Tatarstan;

- providing the schoolchildren from various cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan with access to affordable and essential education in order to meet their educational needs.

The project was carried out for the first time in 2002, and it had 60 participants. In 2013, it won the Tatarstan Republic Grant Competition of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan among socially oriented non-profit organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The project is carried out on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of schoolchildren from Tatarstan and regions of Russia.
